and by day 5 of school holidays…

12 June 2010 – Ashley @ 5y 10d
…I pretty much ran out of ideas to keep the 2 kids occupied!
They played together.
They laughed.
They cried.
They were constantly at loggerheads with one another which drives me absolutely MAD!!!!
My rule is that if they want to stay in the study room with me while I work, they will need to keep the noise level down especially if I am in a conference call.
But nooooo…
They constantly bickered.
I am to blame as well as since I didn’t have a plan for them as well.
I sent them out of the room a couple of times when they quarrelled in my study room and wished that the school break was a week instead of 2 cause I’m now at a lost at what I will have them do next week. I feel guilty for feeling that way but hey! I am no saint. Hate myself for feeling that way but I do feel that way at times – times when I feel like pulling my hair out.
That said, I got to get cracking on what to do with the kids next week.
Any ideas?
P/S Oh and check out here what Shannon got for Ashley for her birthday.

i would say craft ideas or make a card of some sort. or even coloring book to keep them busy busy!! hehe
lol !! u r not alone.. gimme couple of days with her, I’ll tear my hair off too. And thks for the tls site, I’ve downloaded some homework to occupy her at the childminders..
I symphatise with you! Plus I work in an office!!!! Bryan asks me every day whether he has school and cries when I respond with a “no” or “not yet”. I can’t wait till it starts too!! Is your hubs going for the Fathers’ Day celebration in school?? I asked my hubs and he said, “Must really go, ah?” hahahhaa
but I think you are doing a good job keeping them occupied.
