mama’s house

It’s no secret that Aidan is a mommy’s boy. Whenever I am around, he’d want me to do everything for him. However,  when it comes to going to mama’s house (My Mil’s house) for the day, he will willingly part with me. He goes to my MIL’s house for the day twice a week. In the mornings, whenever he wakes up, he’d scan the room for any exit signs which may suggest that Hubs may have left without him e.g sound of Hubs taking a shower in the bathroom, the sound of Hubs rummaging in the walk-in wardrobe etc. And if he doesn’t see Hubs, he’d shout out,”Daddddyyy! Where you!?” If it’s the day for him to go to MIL’s house, I’d tell him, “Dan…you are going to Mama’s house today ok?” and he’d suck his thumb and touch my hair and after like 15-20 seconds, he’d release his thumb and say, “Mm OK!” And he’d give me a kiss and a hug and say “Bye Bye mommy!” and then scramble for his bolster and teddy bear leave with Hubs. What a cutie he is!

Potty Training progress - Day 8

We still let him wear his underwear during the day and he still wear his diapers when we go out and when he takes his nap or go to sleep at night. There are still a couple of accidents when he gets too carried away playing or when we forget to remind him to pee. Last night, before going to bed, he said to me..

Aidan : Mommy. Want she-she. (pee)

Me : (I was lazy….cause I was so sleepy) She-she in your diapers…

and immediately, I felt so guilty for suggesting it as I have introduced inconsistency our potty training efforts.

Aidan : No. Want she-she toilet.

Me : Ok…

And I brought him to the bathroom to relieve himself and he did.
