monkey rash NO MORE!!!

yay yay i must say that as of today, i don’t itch anymore! gone are the monkey rashes…the scars are starting to fade away - and my mum INSISTS that i don’t consume any food which contains black sauce…coz the chinese believe that black sauce will cause scars….i dunno whether it’s true but since my dearest mum is cooking my food - I have no complaints!! :) so….monkey rash no more!!!

last night….when it was due for ashley’s milk, i woke up to the sound of her grunting and pushing as though she was trying to fart…so i decided to be more proactive and prepare her milk before she started to wail helplessly. as i was preparing her bottle, i heard a REALLY loud ….what shall i say….explosion-like sound coming from ashley’s diaper….and i thought “oh no..not again…not on my shift!!!” then i thought i had better leave the bottle since she wasn’t crying for milk and i should get her changing mat in the loo…and as i was in the loo, i heard ANOTHER explosion-like sound!….and then i thought “oh dear…this must be a major one”…and then when i tried to carry ashley ..ARGH!…i realised that her poo actually went right up to the back of her diaper!!! ARGH! this has been the BIGGEST poo ever for the past 27 days! this time i needed to wake keet up to help me clean the little one’s mess!!! and in the midst of cleaning her up - her socks and one mitten had poo on it…hahahahhah! and in the middle of the majoy clean-up operation, she decided to shower us some of “her” blessings and it sprayed over the cot onto the floor in between my legs!! Hmmm! doctor said that her stool will be loose as a result of the anti-biotics she is taking…but i didn’t expect it to be soooooooo major!!…ok..enuff of poos!! heheheh…

yea…went shopping today ..continuation from yesterday….also quite demoralising cause i gotta generally buy one size bigger to cater for my big ass! but anyways…shopping for new clothes makes me feel better! and more ..sane??!! hehehe…excuses excuses to shop!

i like the way ashley :
1. coughs…when she coughs..her lil tongue would stick out a bit and she’d shake her head from side to side and she’d look sooooo cute! as though she is faking a cough to ask for sympathy…
2. farts! just before she farts, she’d squirm and both her legs will be brought up close to her belly before she’d “poo poot”
3. sleeps….she’d put both hands up above her head as though she is in a “i surrender” pose.

put your hands up in the air!!

4. rejects the bottle when she is full - she’d use her tongue to push the teat out of her mouth and make her mouth as small as possible so that you can’t push the teat back into her mouth!

5. rejects water! - she’d react immediately as though we have fed her poison and her face would be scrunged up….but after much persistence on our part..she’d give in and drink the water for awhile…and then she’d reject it and react as though we coerced her into drinking poison….the lil rascal…
6. is so small at this age….she is getting bigger and heavier by the day though and I am trying to enjoy her as much as i can now as they are only little once…
7. sticks her tongue out when she is hungry - she looks like a lil lizard….
8. cries - when she cries for milk - she’d sound as though she is exagerating her hunger as though we have starved her for days! she’d cry until she sounds as tho she’d fake a choke…

little gremlin

i sometimes call ashley my little gremlin - not that she looks like one - don’t get me wrong..it’s just that when she is sleeping, she’d occasionally make tiny little noises when she stretches or she’d grunt & squirm and she’d sound like a little gremlin….

first outing!

keet and i finally got ashley her stroller on saturday and decided to put it to use yesterday…..we planned to go to ikano/the curve since it was just a 5 min drive away from our house…but what started out as a “supposedly” quick outing ended up in us taking 2 hours to leave the house! why? cause we had to pack her stuff to go out…then we had to get ready….and by the time we got ready…we thought we better have our lunch….and by the time we were about to go..ashley was already crying for milk..then had to feed her…burp her….and finally when we got out of the house…it was 2 hours later…*SIGH*….then at the car park…we had to set-up her stroller etc…and by the time we placed her into the stroller…we were already SWEATING! gosh!!! so much of work just to go for a stroll in a mall 5 min away from our house….
then today…my parents and i decided to go to ikano/the curve again….same drill as yesterday…now that we have an addition to the family..we can’t just dress up and go in 2 mins…not like before..we really gotta think twice before going out - gotta assess whether it would be worthwhile going out at all in the first place…if it is worth it..then go..if not..better stay home and just get comfy ….!
ohh and by the way, ashley decided to give us her “present” aka bomb while we were out at ikano! argh!!! her first bomb while we were out…there was soooo much of shit! after changing her diaper and cleaning her up..she decided to bomb AGAIN! luckily i had 2 spare diapers in my bag - cause one of the reasons why we went out today as well was to stock up on her diaper since we were running out of it already this morning….ashleyyy…ashley….
