Gee..I’ve missed a couple of ‘Friday Finds’ posts and here’s one to make up for them!

Current Style Love

I love everything about this look. The scarf, the shift dress, the chunky bracelets, the fab shoes!, the messy updo, the handbag – but minus the hat and jacket though cause it’s not something practical I’d wear in KL!

When I was a kid, still living at KK, I used to gaze at the stars at night and tried to figure them out. Ever since we moved to the Klang Valley, there were hardly any opportunities for us to gaze at the stars because we can hardly see the stars  from where we are.  Anyhow, here’s a printable for those who wish to gaze at the stars. You can download it from here.

For more pins, you check them out on Pinterest.

4. DIY – Free June Calendar Printable by Creature Comforts

Source : Creature Comforts

Ez (prounouced as Ez-Zee)  produces a calendar printable for each month of the year. Just print it on a heavy-weight paper. When the month is through, cut out the decorative design and it can be used as a post card or mini art print. What a splendid idea! You can download the June calendar printable from here.

5. Kite Bow Organizer Tutorial by Ruffles and Stuff

Source : Ruffles and Stuff

I don’t know about you but I dump all of Ashley’s hair clips into an Ikea container. Period. Nothing fancy but accomplished the main objective that is to have all the clips kept in one place. Finding the clips in pairs is another problem altogether. Disney came up with an excellent way of organizing all those hair clips! It not only makes the little girl’s room pretty but also makes it easy to locate the clips instead of scrambling through a box of clips. Check out the tutorial here.

6. DIY Winter Vases using Stylish Socks by mondocherry.

Source : mondocherry

Who would’ve thought of using stylish socks to spice up flower vases? Well the mondocherry girls did! Read all about it here.

That’s all from me for now!

Enjoy!

Friday Finds : Teacher’s Day Gift Ideas

May 18, 2012 at 2:17 pm

Schools are all abuzz with Teacher’s Day celebration. My kids have been bugging me to give their teachers gift. In my time, we were not allowed to present teachers with gifts. Things have surely changed.

So I went in search of some free printables and I pinned them (of course!)

This is pretty much what I want to do. Bag some Cadbury chocolates which we bought last night and seal it with a printable. You can download this free printable by Sweet Metel Moments from here. Good stuff eh?

If you want to give the teachers something bulkier,  bag them in a paper bag. I blogged about where to get brown paper bags here - and they also do have them in white FYI. The free printable is also by Sweet Metel Moments and you can download it from here.

Some may be more inclined to give potted plants to teacher…. you can spice it by sticking a  plant pick in it.  This free printable is by Kinser Event Company and you can download it here.

Who doesn’t love ice cream???? Free printables are by Living Locurto and you can download them here.

This is another idea which I super  like – it’s simple and so very practical! These free printables are by Living Locurto and you can download them here.

Enjoy now!

And have a great weekend!
