I just realized that my last post was more than a month ago. I seriously need to crank up my blog engine. So many things happened in the last 1 month. In fact, I just realized that I have not completely blogged about my past trips to Japan, Europe, Phuket and Phi Phi Island. I really want to jot them down here because it’s nice to look back and read about the places we went to.
But first, I would like to share what my fabulous team and friends did last month. We organized a huge Christmas Make and Take session. For those of you whom do not already know, I have included Young Living essential oils in my family’s health and wellness regime. They say that once you get into using essential oils, you get sucked into it like a black hole and I can attest to that!
So in the spirit of Christmas and sharing our love of the oils and all, my fabulous team and friends organized a Christmas Make and Take session. Our objective was on education i.e. to teach people about essential oils and how we can use them and also to teach people that we chemicals in our everyday products for skin care or household products can easily be swapped out with essential oils.
They say a picture is worth a thousand words. So here are a few pictures. (Unfortunately though, I didn’t personally get to take as much photos as I would usually do because I was the main speaker at that session).
Why is it called a Make and Take?
Well, the participants get to make the items and take them home. In this session, we taught the participants how to make :
- Body scrub
- Lip Balm
- Immune-support roller blend
- Room Spray
We had 50 participants that day (excluding the organizing committee) and oh what a day it was! We spent 3 weeks to plan for this session through WhatsApp group chat and on that day, we miraculously worked in synergy and together made the event a success!
